Stay beautiful on-the-go with these tips.

Pack an essential beauty kit comprising these must-haves:

• Cleanser – Clean skin is the first step to beauty. Get a cleanser that effectively removes make-up too!
• Moisturizer – A good, hydrating moisturizer chases away dehydrated skin, reducing lines and giving you a healthy glow. Find a product that works best with your skin.
• Lip balm – Chapped lips are painful. So, if your destination is dry, windy or cold, pack a rich lip balm to apply day and night.
• Sunscreen – Avoid painful sunburns and spots by covering your skin with protection of at least SPF50 if you intend to be outdoors for most of the day. Re-apply regularly (every 2-4 hours), not just when participating in water activities. Do this even when skiing.
• Dry shampoo – It’s hard to find the place and time to care for your hair while on the road. A good dry shampoo will soak up excess oil and clean your hair, leaving you smelling fresh. Spray it on, wait a few minutes and brush it out.
• Hair oil –Hair oils protect your hair from environmental elements and replace essential moisture lost during travel. They make your hair more manageable, less tangled, reduce static electricity, and restore shine. Just a few drops can make an immediate difference.
• Anti-frizz hair spray – How many times has your hair misbehaved due to changes in your environment? The better humidity-resistant products will keep you “fuzz-free” on the dampest of days.
• Pore-minimizing powder –Normal “wear and tear” on the skin often results in pore enlargement that can show even under foundation makeup. A pore-minimizing powder can smooth out your skin while also helping with oil control.
• Waterproof mascara –If you have thick, dark eyelashes, congratulations! Feel free to leave this one out. But for the rest of us, a few strokes of the brush can draw attention to our eyes.
• Tinted brow gel – Your eyebrows frame your face. Using a bro gel will keep hairs in place while adding definition and depth.
• Lipstick – Attract attention to luscious lips with a swipe of a bright color! Matte liquid lipsticks can keep your pout pretty for up to 8 hours without re-applying, and they won’t melt in your purse on a hot day.

Not checking a bag?

• Don’t forget TSA’s 3-1-1 rule (liquids in maximum 3 oz bottles must fit in one 1-quart bag). Cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and hairspray usually come in larger-sized bottles, but you can often find travel sizes at your local drug store. If not, they will have what you need at a cosmetics store like Sephora or Ulta, or you can order them online.

Eat and drink the right stuff:

• Onboard the plane – avoid alcohol as it dries up your skin. Drink water instead.
• During your travel - street food is delicious, especially the deep fried ones. But it’s very easy to move that fryer oil from your food to your hands to your face, which can cause your skin to break out. So use moderation and wash your hands when you can.

Sleep well:

• Getting enough rest on your vacation should not be forgotten as this is what vacations are about! So sleep well to avoid the dark circles around your eyes.

Keep in shape:

• Vacations are a much-desired break in your routine, but they can disrupt your normal exercise patterns, too. Piling on the pounds is certainly not part of your travel plans, and a lack of exercise can affect your sleep patterns, and leave you feeling – and looking – uncomfortable.
